Winter Wonderland has partnered with the North Central YMCA to bring Alachua County and surrounding areas a most magical holiday event! The Elves have spent months creating displays, signage, games, unique experiences, and so much more. Winter Wonderland has big plans for Gainesville, FL, and looks forward to being one of the best places to see holiday lights each year.
The Elves putting this on have a simple, yet incredibly important goal: to make this a community event. They want to give families the opportunity to experience the North Pole right here in beautiful, sunny Gainesville, Florida. Each year, there will be an ever-changing and expanding rotation of games, with our inaugural year featuring one of Santa’s favorite reindeer, Rudolph.
And speaking of Santa, Winter Wonderland Gainesville is an excellent opportunity for children and adults alike to meet the big guy himself. Santa will be making an appearance at each of our events, both Friday and Saturday, through the end of the year. He’ll also be bringing Mrs. Claus along for extra holiday cheer during family photos.
There will be other photo opportunities to take memorable snapshots with the famous Snow Queen along with her friendly Snowman friend. Be sure to take your turn at our Snowman Attack family-friendly game.
There is something for the whole family at Winter Wonderland Gainesville. We’ll be hosting an animated musical show each night that will get everyone in the holiday spirit. PLUS there will be plenty of opportunities to make ornaments, decorate cookies, send mail directly to Santa’s desk, dine on delicious snacks, and so much more! Get ready to make Winter Wonderland a part of your family’s annual holiday activities!
